Undergraduates

The Perlman Lab has research assistant opportunities for a few conscientious students with a passion for science. Availability depends on the specific projects going on at any point in time. Duties vary by project but typically include: conducting literature reviews, collecting and coding data, and summarizing results.

If you are interested in contributing to our research, please reach out to us using the information on the contact page.

Research Assistantships

We frequently hire work-study students. Professor Perlman also supervises students in the Research Opportunities Program, University of Toronto Excellence Award holders and through other research internship courses (e.g., 1210 in the MEd program). OISE Graduate Assistants also routinely work in the lab. Contact Dr. Perlman if you are interested in pursuing any of these opportunities.

Master’s and Doctoral students

Applications to OISE University of Toronto are reviewed each winter. Prospective master’s and doctoral students interested in working with Professor Perlman should apply for a MA or PhD in the Department of Applied Psychology & Human Development. Michal supervises graduate students in the Developmental Psychology and Education program.
